Online games like Diablo 2: Resurrected are bound to have the odd connection error, but the error saying “You have not been online in 30 days” is particularly infuriating. The fix is relatively easy and quick. Here’s how it works.

If you’re playing Diablo II: Resurrected on Steam and are getting the “You have not been online in 30 days” error, the first and simplest fix is to ensure your Battle.net and Steam accounts are connected.
I’m not exactly sure why the error happens, but if I were to hazard a guess, there might be a version mismatch between the Steam token that launches Battle.net. That miscommunication, or problem with whatever Steam and Battle.net are using to communicate, causes a disconnect in the Diablo 2: Resurrected application's internal clock.

There are also probably too many other reasons to account for the error, but linking your Battle.net and Steam accounts should alleviate the issue. You can always give Blizzard a few days to address the issue on their end, but that’s cold comfort if you wanted to jump into the game right away.
Hopefully, your time with Diablo 2: Resurrected is otherwise free of additional bugs, and you can turn any lingering frustration on the demons looking to swallow the world.
