Guilty Gear Strive 2.0's First New Character, Trailer Set To First Appear At Arc World Tour Finals | PSX Extreme
Arc System Works announced that the update to Guilty Gear Strive announced last year will debut at ARC WORLD TOUR FINALS, after Top 8 concludes on Day 3.
It’s uncertain who the new character in question will be, although previous trailers have shown parts of redesigns for Jam Kuradoberi, and a Robo-Ky that’s likely different from the one floating around Venom right now. Considering where the AWT Finals is, there’s a decent potential- in this contributor’s eyes at least- for Kum Haehyoon from Guilty Gear Xrd, however that’s pure roster speculation at this time.

It’s also known that- through the last Developer’s Backyard, back in December of last year that new moves for certain characters, adjustments to certain in-game mechanics, and potentially some character reworks are to be expected, although it’s uncertain as to who those may or may not be. A release date and how 2.0 will actually work, whether it’s an update to Strive itself, or a new edition entirely, in line with Guilty Gear Xrd‘s multiple versions or Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising.
What do you think? Who do you think the new character will be? Please, let us know below!
