Vitality become third organization with over $10 million in prize winnings

February 23, 2026 01:52PM

Following their recent victory over PARIVISION in the finals of PGL Cluj-Napoca, Vitality became the third organization in Counter-Strike history to garner over $10 million in total prize winnings. To be more precise, Vitality has earned $10,223,593 across all their tournaments. This puts them at #3 on the all-time leaderboard, just behind Astralis with $10,705,759 and Natus Vincere with $12,242,210. Earnings from all versions of CS are included in the list.

Vitality's generation-defining run of trophies has rocketed their overall earnings as the team collects victories at a seemingly impossible pace.

Since the start of 2025, Vitality has won $2.75 million from first-place finishes alone. When you add in the extra from their Grand Slam, the BLAST Frequent Flyers Program, and other deep runs, the team has earned just north of $4.57 million in barely over a year. If Vitality were founded in January 2025, they would still be #11 on the list, above names like Ninjas in Pyjamas, SK, and Cloud9.

Outside of the non-tournament winnings like the Grand Slam, their biggest paydays came with their back-to-back major wins ($500k each), and IEM Katowice/Kraków wins ($400k each). Add this to other big wins before 2025, like IEM Cologne 2024, Gamers8 2023, and the BLAST Paris Major 2023, and it's no wonder they are so high on the list.

As for the teams above them, it shouldn't come as a big surprise that NaVi holds the top spot. Their $1 million major, Grand Slam, and 16 years of high-level competition, compared to only seven for Vitality, put them at the top. They still have a lead of over $2 million, but Vitality shows no signs of slowing down, and a second Grand Slam on the horizon could close the gap significantly.

Conversely, Astralis may lose their #2 spot much sooner as they are less than $500k in front of Vitality despite having nearly two more years in the CS esports scene. Time will tell how high Vitality can go and if other teams can slow their rise.

The current top five CS organizations by total prize earnings are:

  • #1 Natus Vincere: $12,242,210 (entered Dec. 2009)

  • #2 Denmark Astralis: $10,705,759 (entered Jan. 2016)

  • #3 Vitality: $10,223,593 (entered Oct. 2018)

  • #4 United States FaZe Clan: $9,737,207 (entered Jan. 2016)

  • #5 G2: $7,180,453 (entered Feb. 2015)
