Yakuza 3 Kiwami is here, and it's not just providing an updated way to play Yakuza 3 Remastered - it's outright replacing it. Yakuza 3's remaster will be delisted today now that its Kiwami replacement has been released, but if you want to buy it, there's a chance you're seeing this in time to pick up a copy before it's too late.
Unless you're reading this on or after February 13, 2026, in which case it most definitely is too late.
RGG Studio confirmed a while ago that, once Yakuza 3 Kiwami was here, the older remaster of the third Yakuza game would be sent out back. Whether you're only just learning that now, or you heard it months ago and figured you'd get around to picking up the remaster before it's too late, this is your last chance.
Yakuza 3 Remastered Will Be Delisted Almost Everywhere On February 12, 2026, That's Today

At the time of typing this, Yakuza 3 Remastered is still available to purchase on the PlayStation and Xbox stores, Steam, and other sites like Fanatical and GOG. GOG may well still have the remaster after its delisting if the similar Yakuza 0 situation is anything to go by. RGG pulled something similar with the recently released Yakuza 0 Director's Cut, removing the original version of the game from storefronts.

The only problem is that I can't tell you exactly when Yakuza 3 Remastered will disappear, but I can say that by the end of today, it will be gone. According to RGG's official announcement, the delisting time has already passed, but the game remains available. It does note that the remaster may be removed from storefronts at different times, depending on the region.
After Today, You'll Have To Buy A $130 Bundle To Get Yakuza 3 Remastered
There will technically still be a way to buy the Yakuza 3 remaster, it's just going to cost you. Kiwami 3 will not be taking its place in the Yakuza Complete Series, a bundle which combines the first seven games in the series, from Yakuza 0 through to Yakuza 6. Great if you need all of those games, not so good if you just want the old version of Yakuza 3 since the bundle costs $130.
The remaster's imminent removal is going to sting even more than Yakuza fans expected following the lukewarm reaction to its replacement. Pre-launch, Yakuza 3 Kiwami has been plagued by RGG's decision to hire a controversial actor. Now it's here, the game has received middling reviews - out of the ordinary for modern Yakuza games - and players aren't pleased with the decision to cut the original's trans substory. A questline that will soon be gone forever if you don't own the remaster.
